Criteria for Membership

• At least 5 years of active real estate experience.
• A minimum of 5 senior-related transactions (moves or estates).
• A clean ethical record within their province.
• Automatic membership for former ASA members or current SRES designees.

Cost:

• One time administrative fee $50 + GST/HST
• $100 + GST/HST/year

Please note: the number of SREA members per geographic area is limited. Once the maximum number for an area is reached no further SREA memberships will be available for that particular area. Below are the guidelines we use:

Population Size  # of SREA Agents

• 1M+ (Toronto, Vancouver, etc.) 1 per 100,000

• 500K - 1M (Ottawa, Mississauga, Hamilton) 1 per 75,000

• 250K - 500K (Mid-Sized Cities) 1 per 50,000

• 50K - 250K (Small Cities) 1 per 25,000

• Under 50K (Rural & Villages) 1 per 10,000-25,000
